American-French violinist Juliette Greer, is a captivating and versatile musician who has touched audiences with her vivid performances as a chamber musician, soloist, and orchestral player.  Awarded fourth place in the 2022 International Bach Competition in Leipzig, Juliette has a passion for baroque music in its deeply human expression, and its visceral power to connect to audiences.  She made her Weill Recital Hall debut with the fiery New York-based baroque ensemble Twelfth Night at Carnegie Hall in May 2024, and has played frequently with other baroque groups in New York City like Juilliard 415 and Trinity Wall Street Church Baroque Orchestra. Juliette graduated from New England Conservatory, Carnegie Mellon University, and most recently, The Juilliard School.  A devoted chamber musician, she has spent summers playing chamber music at the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival, Perlman Chamber Music Workshop, Thy Chamber Music Festival, and Valley of the Moon Music Festival where she will be returning this summer to perform, collaborate, and teach with her quartet as the Fellowship Quartet in residence.  She has led her colleagues in both the NEC Symphony, Juilliard Orchestra, and Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic as concertmaster. Among her most profound musical influences have been Andrés Cárdenes, Ayano Ninomiya, Merry Peckham, Joseph Lin, and Areta Zhulla. 

In January 2025, Juliette joined the Orchestre de Paris for their spring season after winning the Académie position in 2024. She has been overjoyed to be steeped in the rich musical tradition of this orchestra and to have toured Europe and Asia under their music director Klaus Mäkelä.
